About
I don't exactly remember the first time I picked up a camera. The most significant time would be on my Senior year in High School. I took photos of an event with a little point and shoot camera and I was exhilarated by the rush of things (snap judgements stemming from preparation and anticipation). The amount of candid moments I captured really propelled me to always carry a camera around with me and document life as it happens. When I moved to Los Angeles, I started venturing out on the streets taking photos of anything and everything. What really gave me direction was attending workshops, learning from fellow photographers and indulging in photo books.
Little has changed over the years. I still venture out to the streets but now with a focused eye. I believe I know what I look for every time I go out to shoot, whether it's in LA or any other city. What interests me is the moment, the light, the scene, the people and the emotions. I shoot both digital and film.
